Description:

The Wheel SENSOR DPA makes it possible to regulate the flow of the distribution in relation to the advancement of the soil working tool (DPA system), continuously.

The position sensor is to be positioned in front of a wheel, a roller, the back of a disc, a tractor wheel... It must be in a static position. We must position a rotating metal object around 5mm to 10mm from the sensor. The DPA works thanks to the frequency of rotation.

The DPA SENSOR consists of:

A control unit with flow adjustment potentiometer,

An on / off switch to control the distribution,

An on / off button to control the blower,

A priming button to operate the system without advancing,

A memorized speed button to save a setting.

A position sensor to be attached to the soil working tool.

ADJUSTMENT AND USE:

It is preferable to use the adjustment table supplied with the device to be able to adjust the DPA.

Perform the following calculation to obtain a setting in kg / hour:

SPEED x WORKING WIDTH x DOSE / HECTARE = ​​KILOGRAMS / HOUR.

The result obtained makes it possible to make a weighing in one minute to obtain grams / minute and check the correct setting of the dose. This weight must then be converted to kilograms / hour.

To make this weighing, keep your finger pressed on the priming button (amorçage) for one minute. The distribution roller will then start to rotate to the desired setting.

If, thanks to the weighing, there is an overdose or an under dosage, the potentiometer setting must be modified and the weighing must be repeated.

When an adjustment has been made on the potentiometer in the cabin, turn on / off switches to start the blower and the distribution. The tractor must move at the intended working speed for the DPA to receive speed information. When this working speed is obtained, press the memorized speed button. The green LED then starts to flash. When it stays on, it means that the DPA is working and that it is running. The dose is therefore regular whatever the forward speed of the tractor.
